Michael’s first experience with IT started at University in 1980 where he undertook one computing unit within his science degree – it was a life changing moment. Science did not work out and some years later went back to Uni to do every computing unit that he could. After achieving his degree, not wanting to live in a city, he purchased a restaurant in Merimbula and successfully ran it for 4 years. Survived the recession that we had to have and a pilots strike. He sold the restaurant and moved back to Canberra. 1992: he has been in the IT industry ever since. He has worked in retail in Braddon and a stint supplying services and product to the ACT and Federal governments, he found his niche supporting small businesses and has continued ever since. He is happily married to Cheryl and has 2 children.

Cheryl loves the numbers. She processes the orders, does invoicing and much much more. Favourite movie: Dirty Dancing

With over thirty years industry experience in both Information Technology & Communications and Commercial Retail Management. Jonathon’s career path has given him a uniquely diverse range of skills and expertise to be able to service and find the right solutions for his clients from larger government agencies, small to medium enterprise businesses, right down to the individual consumer.

Scott joined the team in 2010 and brings with him over 15 years of industry experience. Scott provides support covering all aspects of IT with a focus on security and system standards. With various industry qualifications and knowledge gained through hands on experience; Scott now holds the title of Service Manager. He drives the service team, develops our systems and is constantly working with the latest technologies so that we are always at the forefront of industry developments. Outside of work he is passionate for snowboarding (when the season allows) and touring the country in his 4wd.

Rob joined the team in 2019. He has had a love of all things computer since a young age, and got his start in IT in 1998, having been involved either directly in IT or in the communications and networking space ever since.

Darrell loves the IT industry even spending much time out of hours working on his many servers and workstations at home. Motorbikes have been a great passion. He has been in the IT support industry for many years (he said he stopped counting at 23 but suspects its about 25) in many varied roles. You may see Darrell as he visits your office during one of the scheduled Network Administrator visits.

Jared has been working with computers his whole life, and always had a interest in how they work. He would normally spend a lot of time messing with and modifying games, making virtual machines and upgrading his computer. He has been studying I.T for 2 years, mainly studying networking, before joining OmniIT to learn how to handle real issues and learn more about the industry. His passions include wakeboarding, snowboarding, skateboarding and playing video games.

Andrew loves technology. His passion began in grade 10 when undertaking work experience at a computer store building new systems and installing windows 95. In 1998 he worked for 4 years in the computer industry before completing a science degree. Since then he has work in varies customer service roles and for Questacon running school holiday programs teaching kids 3d printing, robotics and logic. His interest includes mountain biking, motorbikes, cars and Dragon ball.
